Northwest Veg is putting on a "mini Vegfest" featuring food, speakers, vendors, cooking demonstrations, and classes and KBOO will be broadcasting from it live! The Compassionate Living Festival is celebrating 20 years of Northwest VEG providing community for people seeking to move to a healthier, sustainable, compassionate plant-based diet.
We are looking for an Airroom Board Operator to monitor the broadcast from the station and make sure everything is sounding ok and being a backup in case any FCC violations squeak through.
The broadcast is scheduled on Saturday, September 28th from 2pm to 5pm, though it could run long (as live events can). Volunteers should show up at 1:30pm. You will be in the airroom at KBOO.
