Northwest Veg is putting on a "mini Vegfest" featuring food, speakers, vendors, cooking demonstrations, and classes and KBOO will be broadcasting from it live! The Compassionate Living Festival is celebrating 20 years of Northwest VEG providing community for people seeking to move to a healthier, sustainable, compassionate plant-based diet.
We are looking for an engineer to control the sound levels, switch from anchors to speakers, and communicate with the airroom. This is a position in which past live engineering would be preferred.
The broadcast is scheduled on Saturday, September 28th from 2pm to 5pm, though it could run long (as live events can). Volunteers should show up at 1:30pm. The location is Norse Hall, 111 NE 11th Ave, Portland OR 97232.
