Northwest Veg is putting on a "mini Vegfest" featuring food, speakers, vendors, cooking demonstrations, and classes and KBOO will be broadcasting from it live! The Compassionate Living Festival is celebrating 20 years of Northwest VEG providing community for people seeking to move to a healthier, sustainable, compassionate plant-based diet.
We are looking for an anchor to introduce speakers to our listeners, conduct interviews, and fill some time. There will be backup material prepared for us to cut to when needed.
The broadcast is scheduled on Saturday, September 28th from 2pm to 5pm, though it could run long (as live events can). Volunteers should show up at 1:30pm. The location is Norse Hall, 111 NE 11th Ave, Portland OR 97232.
