KBOO is going to be recording the Washington County Chamber of Commerce (WCCC) Juneteenth Celebration for broadcast! We are looking for volunteers to take a Zoom Recorder to the event, plug into the site sound board, and record the performances at Jerry Willey Plaza in Hillsboro (943 NE Orenco Station Loop, Hillsboro, OR 97124).
The event takes place on Saturday, June 8. The first shift will show up at 11:30am to set up and the event runs until 6:30pm. The shift is split in two so you don't have to be at the site the whole time, though if you want to sign up for both shifts, you are welcome to!
You will have to monitor sound levels during performances, but there will be some downtime. Arthur will meet with you before the event to train you on how to hook up and run the recorder.
