In honor of Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, APANO and APANO CUF are excited to present: Voices of Change Celebration: Roots of Resilience on May 16, 2024 from 5:30-8:30pm and KBOO is broadcasting live!
"Our Voices of Change annual fundraiser is a family friendly community event where we will celebrate our interconnectedness and shared strength. We come together to call on you, our community, to continue your support of our ongoing work to build power, develop leaders, and advance equity for Asians and Pacific Islanders in Oregon."
Volunteers will be there from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. The live producer listens to the stage and signals to the anchors about when they are live, when to cut, and when the engineer should go live to the stage. They also follow the remote scripts to ensure the anchors are reading out all the essential information.
