In honor of Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, APANO and APANO CUF are excited to present: Voices of Change Celebration: Roots of Resilience on May 16, 2024 from 5:30-8:30pm and KBOO is broadcasting live!
"Our Voices of Change annual fundraiser is a family friendly community event where we will celebrate our interconnectedness and shared strength. We come together to call on you, our community, to continue your support of our ongoing work to build power, develop leaders, and advance equity for Asians and Pacific Islanders in Oregon."
Volunteers will be there from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. The live engineer is in communication with the airroom to make sure the broadcast sounds OK and works with the producer to switch from the KBOO anchors to the live feed from the stage. This is a good training opportunity for the position.
