KBOO is returning to broadcast the Good in the Hood Festival from King School Park! This annual festival is the largest of its type in the Pacific Northwest. It opens with a parade that travels through Northeast Portland and ends at the site of the festival. The event runs from Saturday, June 24 to Sunday, June 25 from noon to 8pm. Good in the Hood is a great community party and this event should be loads of fun.
We are looking for Live Producers to work 4 hour shifts over the two days. The Producer will signal shifts from the stage to our anchors and back again. They will indicate when anchors need to stretch longer or to cut off and direct them as to what in the anchor binder they should read out.
The shift times are about 95% locked in, but could shift slightly as the event schedule is tweaked.
