KBOO is returning to broadcast the Good in the Hood Festival from Lillith-Albina Park! This annual festival is the largest of its type in the Pacific Northwest. It opens with a parade that travels through Northeast Portland and ends at the site of the festival. The event runs from Saturday, June 28 to Sunday, June 29 from noon to 9pm. Good in the Hood is a great community party and this event should be loads of fun.
We have some board operator shadow opportunities for 3.75 to 4 hour shifts over the two days. These allow you to oversee the broadcast from the airrroom without having to run the board, though there may be some opportunities that arise.
