Good In The Hood Live Engineer

Expired

Description

KBOO is returning to broadcast the Good in the Hood Festival from Lillith-Albina Park! This annual festival is the largest of its type in the Pacific Northwest. It opens with a parade that travels through Northeast Portland and ends at the site of the festival. The event runs from Saturday, June 28 to Sunday, June 29 from noon to 9pm. Good in the Hood is a great community party and this event should be loads of fun.

We are looking for Engineers to work 3.75 to 4 hour shifts over the two days. The engineer monitors the site feed and makes sure it sounds good. They also communicate with the airroom via Slack about any potential issues that arise. You will work with an on-sight engineer to troubleshoot. Board Operator Training suggested, but not mandatory.

If you sign up for the last shifts of the night, cleanup and tear down (for Sunday night) are built into the shift. Please plan on helping to pack up.

The shift times are about 95% locked in, but could shift slightly as the event schedule is tweaked.
