This course teaches volunteers what can and can’t be said on the air according to the FCC, IRS, and KBOO Policies. Volunteers will learn about indecency, payola/plugola, political broadcasting, and more! This class is a prerequisite for on-air volunteering opportunities such as hosting, anchoring, and board operating.
This training will be held in-person at the station and online via Zoom.
If you are going to be more than 5 minutes late, please sign up for another FCC Training. You will miss too much vital information and will not be let into the meeting.
