Saturday, April 25th, KBOO is hosting an Amy Goodman Meet and Greet following a showing of the new documentary, 'Steal This Story, Please!", and a Q &A session. This event will be taking place at Cinema 21 (NW PORTLAND) and 21st Ave Bar and Grill We are looking for a few of volunteers to help with tabling and ticketing for this event. Since there is a movie screening in the middle of the hours listed, during the volunteer shift we may move your position depending on the need.
Ticketing Info: we will use someone to assist with checking in our KBOO meet and greet guests right outside of the theatre. We will have a printed list with names and ticket amount purchased. Once a name is checked off, the volunteer will pass them their physical ticket. Once all guests have been checked in, the ticketing volunteer will move positions.
There will be a second check-in taking place later on into the shift at 21st Ave Bar and Grill. The ticketing volunteer will be tasked with checking off names of folks from another printed list before letting them onto the bar patio for the meet and greet.
Tabling Info: There will be two different tables, one at Cinema 21 one at 21st Ave Bar and Grill. Both tables will feature information on KBOO, our different groups and committees, donation information/membership forms, and some goodies to share with folks.
There will be some downtime with these roles but please come prepared with layers and any other additional needs for yourself!
