KBOO has been invited to table a Dia de los Muertos Celebration! The event runs from 2pm to 10pm just about ten blocks from KBOO at the Redd East Event Space. Here's an event description:
"Audiences are drawn to this ancient celebration originating from the indigenous people of Mexico. The ancient celebration welcomes the souls of the dead who return each year to visit with their living relatives - to eat, drink and share a special moment.
Specific Activities: altar creation, Muertos face painting, sugar skull decorating, traditional Mexican food, drink, and live musical performances."
