KBOO is hosting a Bluegrass Marathon as part of our All Thrills, No Frills Vol 2 Special Programming Drive. Several of Portland's finest bluegrass bands are taking part: Josh Cole Band, Sawtooth and Sons, Ash Creek, Slipshod, Sunny South and more to be announced. The live broadcast runs from noon to 5pm at the Multnomah Grange #71.
As with all of our live remotes, we have many roles to fill. This position is to operate the airroom board, ensuring the live feed is being broadcast. You will also listen for FCC violations and communicate with the on-site engineer via Slack about how the feed is going. Finally, you will have to switch from our normal programming or return to it depending on which shift you take.
This is an in-station position, not at the venue.
