Where and how to record your promo:
If you have taken Introduction to Studio Production, you can check out a production studio (by email volunteer@kboo.org) and record/mix your promo at the station in a production studio!

You may also produce the promo remotely. If you don't have any equipment, a smartphone with a basic recording app works just fine, but please be mindful of audio quality.

Pro Tip for recording at home: Record in a dense space, surrounding yourself with blankets and pillows can help absorb reverb and white noise. Closets usually work great for this! You can also place a sock over your phone speaker to act as a pop filter.
