Join us for a script-writing pizza party! We'll be preparing scripts for the anchors at our upcoming summer remotes like the Juneteenth Celebration, Good in the Hood, Waterfront Blues Fest and Cathedral Park Jazz Festival.
The scripts include things like artist bios, pitches, histories of the event and more. We'll be working off of existing templates to create new copy for our live anchors.
Even if you've never written on-air scripts before, this is a good place to learn! But of course, experienced writers are welcome too.
Bring a laptop if you would like to work out of Studio 1 (the backroom) or help us out on the newsroom computers.
